I think I may go up to the chain Sunday to start to open up my trailer for the season. I'm going to take a ride and check the North river and a few other spots for open water its about that time.

The North River is starting to open up I'd say about 2 more weeks and Its time for Mr. Walleye up there. The lakes are still iced over but the shores are getting soft. The channel that runs between Marie and Bluff is wide open and flowing. The bay behind my trailer is soft along shore and out about 10 feet. The bottom is black mud so it soaks up the heat from the sun fast. I haope to go out next Saturday and change the hot water tank in my Trailer I'll post an update.
