this is a lake i'd love to fish but haven't. hopefully some of our members will chime in and get you on some fish.

Hey fishingsheep,

I've fished Shabonna lake only once -- used small minnows off shore fishing for Crappie -- we caught a bunch. That's about all the info that I can give ya. There are definitely some good fish in there, I remember watching I think it was called "Outdoor Notebook" an outdoors fishing show that had an episode about Shabonna, and this guy who pulled out the new Illinois State record (I don't know if it's still the record though).
