Shagbark Lake

I just installed Google Earth today and was looking around the Belleau Lake area. There are a bunch of lakes around there that I have never noticed. One of them was Shagbark Lake, which looks like it might be a nice lake to try out. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of it or tried fishing there? I just might go check it out this weekend to see how it is. Thanks for the help.

Hey Phil, check out Topwater's post on this thread.

According to him, it's got great fishing but is a private lake.
What about Peterson Lake (near Axehead)?
I also have Google Earth and have seen these lakes. Yes... most of them are private.

Google Earth is very cool and is free for the basic version. But you don't even need that. Google has a MAPS page which gives you access to basically the same images. It's easy to find on Google (go to "more" and click on "maps").
