Found this on the CCFPD website...

JOB NO: 05-19.3.1A AQUATIC HABITAT RESTORATION-NORTH AREA SHORELINE STABILIZATION

DESCRIPTION: Restoration of eroded shorelines at Axehead Lake, Bode Lake and Busse Lake. Work will include regrading, shoreline stabilization, vegetative treatments, irregular outcropping stone walls, grouted stone riprap and all related work necessary to complete the improvements in accordance with all requirements of the contract documents.

PRE-BID MEETING: Wednesday, March 28, 2007, 10:00 AM local time, Forest Preserve District of Cook County, General HEADQUARTERS 2nd Floor Boardroom, 536 North Harlem Avenue, River Forest, IL 60305.

COMPLETION DATE: August 24, 2007


I wonder how exactly this will effect these lakes, especially Axehead.

Last time I went to Beck with Senkos I didn't even Texas rig em, just left the hook exposed because there were no weeds to get hung up on. I haven't caught a single bass at Beck this year and haven't seen anyone else catch anything but panfish and that was on the ice.
