Fished Lagoon #6 from 6:30pm - 8:20pm; variable swirling winds, some early rain, hot and muggy.

Headed back to my favorite bay on the west side of lagoon #6. It was unfishable - the entire bay was covered in green "silt". The Senko wouldn't even fall through. So I headed back around by the dam separating #5 and #6. Worked the #6 side and got 2 largemouth bass on a 5" white Slug-go/ First one was small - about 10", the second was 16.5" and danced like crazy!

There were cicadas all over in the final stages of life and many were falling into the water. But no big bass splashes to get them - only a few "kisses" from panfish. And there was virtually no topwater action, even towards sunset.

Thanks for the post Jay. Seems the green slime is as bad at the goons as opeka! O's getting better slowly as far as that goes but today i had one (1) bump! Despressing  Don't know what it is, but whatever it is I ain't on it. Anyway, at least you got out and got a few on.

I especially like the first pic, you look thoroughly unimpressed by that catch! (the hat of shame kinda rounds out the look, too!) Kinda sums up how I feel about this season so far
