Has anyone here ever fished Sterling Lake up in Lake County, just south of the state line? I've heard some good things about it and was wondering if anyone here has been there.

yeah in van patten woods it's a real nice lake we fished there for crappie a lot of dinks mostly but an ocasional keeper i like a tiny leadhead jig tiped with crawler or minnow rigged with a slip bober off the pier spring or fall they have musky's and bass in there as well no luck there for me there's a bait shop & boat rental as well. nice place for a family picnic but watch out for the horse & goose dung...
