once i got a (SMALL)striped bass out a there on a worm fishing for gills, late november . was sooo supprised. i wanna fish for the bigger ones but don't know what to use. any suggestions? the bass was only 5 in, so :lol:

it was probably a white bass. they look like stipers when they are that small.

There are Whites throughout the entire creek. Their population is just small and the fish are generally small themselves too.

I fished one fall and caught numerous yellow and white bass as well as walleye with a few nice large mouth and crappie thrown in. But the white and yellow bass were all small I caught one 11" white bass but that was it. i let all of them go so that 11" is sure to be much bigger now this was about 2 yrs ago...

actually... it was a stripper cause it had 8 NON-BROKEN bars across it and it was longer than it was round...i looked in the regulations... :twisted:
