Just got back from fishing busse today. Got there at 7am. Caught one small bass the action wasn't there today. Was packed with guys who had 10 foot poles, must think there are marlin in there? Tried to go away from the crowds. Tried everything in the tackle box and even though I didn't catch much was happy to be out doing what I love to do fish. I know its early in the season so I will be back out next weekend.

Those guys with the long poles (i know... insert comment here), are usually no different than the bucketheads. They have their technique, but mostly just take up space and have a bluegill or two to show for their efforts.

Again, true angling off the beaten path at these waters can produce great fish.

hahah and the poles always seem to be white. a combination of arrogance and ignorance make those guys hard to swallow.

Keep at it bud and that lake will definitely reward you.
