There's a rod & reel combo I want to get but the rod is 1PC about 7ft long. How would you take that around in a 2dr coupe?

do the seat fold down in backseat into the trunk?....thats how i do it. or see if out the window trick will work.

the other day i even got my 7 footer into the backseat of a cab!

Just like jaypee said, threw the trunk if the back seat folds down or threw your window.

They do sell this 6 rod holder that you can carry with you, that has four suction cups to stick on your window. I'm not sure how safe that would be thow. You can find it at BPS.

How about getting an inexpensive rack for the top of your car and tying it down?

A 7 ft should fit diagonaly with the handle on the pass floor and the tip pointing into the backseat behind driver.

That would be how i do it. Just make sure you don't park too close to anything on the passsenger side of the car
