I wanted to thank everyone for all the great info. went to skokie this morning caught a few, as soon as I can figure out how to post pics I will. Best fish was a 22" walleye. Just nice to be out. Thanks again.

Hiya Daddio! I caught one just about that size in late nov 2005 right in that same area by the dam, it was DELICIOUS!!!!!!! Walleye -keepers under 25 inches(the bigger ones are the BREEDERS...) I DO eat!!! It hit a grub like a freight train and was 25 feet away from the bite spot within 2 seconds! I mean II had to REEL! to catch up with it. Big fun in Nov. and I was the ONLYperson out there fishing. I hope you catch lots of fish this year,. fun ain't it?!

I got him on a chartruse twister tail 4" bouncing it off the bottom. Green was the color that day. Everything I got came on a green variety. I tell you I was there yesterday and got two on a firetiger rattle trap in about 45 min. of fishing. There were small but fun anyway.
