The water temperature on the fox was 74 degrees this morning in about a foot of water. The water level has come down about 6"-8" since the beginning of the week. It's looking pretty good for all you waders out there. With the dropping water levels, the clarity is improving as well.
The bait of choice for small mouth is still the large fatheads.
Large roaches are still the preferred bait for large mouth in the ponds and cats in the river.
Leeches are also producing fish.
The Case Lil' Hellgrammites are still working in the pumpkinseed and chartruese pumpkin colors. The 2" Storm Wildeye Swin Shad are also doing well.
:D Happy Father's Day to all you Dads out there! :D
