Beautiful day sunny, very light north east wind. Temps started in the
low 60's climbing to mid 80's. Water temp a nice 76 degrees.
Got out on the water at 5:30, fished until noon. Not too bad of a day.
The bite was a little slow, but managed to pick up a few. I have to say
I was a little depressed with no top water frog bite today.
Would of stayed out longer, but the lake was packed today. A whole
mess of canoes, and kayacks. Not to mention the number of boats
out fishing.
I picked up all my fish today on soft plastic. Texas rigged worms, dingers,
and creature baits.

Nice fish and so close to my house I think I will have to take the kids over for some fishing. Being new to the area it's not like east of Randall where you have sub or corp ponds all over to fish.
