Headed out for a few hours with Brent and Tyler to see what we could raise on a cool and windy day. Water temps have dropped down to the low to mid 40's and water levels continue to drop as winter drawdown has begun. The river was very slow with only a couple of nibbles around the drop offs so we headed to the lakes fishing Fox and Petite lakes mainly. The bite has slowed down from lake week with only 7 fish caught, most being little guys. It was still enough to put a smile on this face.

Other than Brent's secret jigging technique, all fish came on small fatheads and 1/6th jigs in about 10-12 foot of water and a couple on slip bobbers. They key from now on will be to fish slow and watch your line for the slightest movement or twitch. Hopefully our weather will hold up for a few more weeks.

Thanks Brent and Tyler for sharing the day, Had a good time. :)
