I was out today with Don Dz and Rich Kumar from Illinois Outdoors TV, and Fish81156 filming a segment on the chain for their TV show. Problem is, Rich did all the camera work and took the pictures meaning I have none to post until I get some footage. Hoe did the day go?? Not too bad with somewhere between 15 and 20 walleyes caught along with several bass, white bass, perch, the beloved drum and one flathead catfish. Most fish were smaller in size than I would have liked but we did pick up one 22 inch walleye and several others between 13-15 inches. We fished, the north river, Pistakee, Fox and Lake Marie. While on Lake Marie we stopped at the Sand bar for an awesome pizza. Water temps ranges from the upper 50's to the low 60's and the jig bite was on when tipped with small fatheads. Crank baits were quiet today but didn't spend too much time with them. Sorry, no pic's until Rich sends them to me and the show should air in the next few weeks. I'll be out Saturday and Sunday but will make Monday my family day with Mrs Spinner for a BBQ. I hope to post a thorough report for the weekend on Monday. A special thanks to Pat who helped set this day up.

Thanks guys, it really was a good time and fortunately the fish did cooperate a little. Here's a pic of the 22 incher.

The show will air June 15th on TLN and other cable channels. It was sent to them over the weekend. JD Thanks for more great memories on the water. Wont be able to play this weekend the younger son is graduating from Maine South so we're busy. Till next time hook one for me.
