My favorite, as in closest to home decent size pond is supposed to be a home to both channel cats and crappies. However in ten years I fish there I've never seen either and have always assumed that the shirtless people have gotten them all. It appears they think so too, as it's been some time since I've seen them there. It turns out this is incorrect as within the last few weeks I've caught one of each. Without trying too!

One of the best times I had Fall crappie fishing was using floating Rapala. They get aggressive sometimes.
Love the incidental catfish catches too!
