got out with the usuall rig (crawlers :lol: ) and set a new axehead record for me today , a totle of 11 bass caught today!!! not much but still my axehead record. scince i have moved to cary already and i have no computer yet i will have to post my fox river reports after i get a computer.

p.s. ur prolly thinking if i dont have a computer how am i posting??? :lol: lol im in town and using my grandpas compter :wink:

I think there are only 11 fish in Axehead. Those fish won't be biting for a couple of years.

I have been going out there allot this summer and was doing pretty well in August but September has been terrible. I did switch from evening to early mornings. I am there when the gate opens for about 30 minutes and have been really skunking out. The little senkos and sluggos have stopped producing in a big way. Am trying other things(small rat-l-traps), but nothing yet.

Axehead has always been tough for me. Every time I head out there the weather always sucks. :lol:
