so my problem lately when I'm fishing is knowing what to do when I got a bite and setting da hook I use a bobber and I'm currently using a really tiny hook because I heard they work really well to new people who fish but everytime the bobber goes down I usually pull up the opposite direction the bobbers going and my worm is gone any tips to a newbie

Try using spikes or waxies instead of crawlers (if that is what you are using). I have been catching a lot of crappies, and bluegills using ice jigs and spikes.

with a bobber i usually just set the hook with a gentle pop. with you wrist just move the tip about a foot.
