Did anyone submit for tags for the upcoming season? I applied for tags about a week and a half ago and haven't gotten a response yet.

I checked the DNR website and I was issued a tag but have yet to receive it. Should get it within the next couple of days. I applied back in November though. You shouldnt have a problem getting one, hopefully it comes soon. I am heading down to Jefferson County, hope its not as cold as last year. Where are planning on hunting?

Back to Bureau County for me. Do you know if I can take a buck if I still have unfilled Bureau County shotgun tags?

if the antlers are smaller than 3in. you can. Its anterless only statewide. Most likely you will see the buck of a lifetime cuz you cant shoot em. Happened to me last year. Thats ok I dont mind taking a doe just fine, to be out in the woods and not working is good enough for me. If you have an unused tag from first or second season you can still use it late season.
