although the river has been doing good with the eyes latly. i decided to head off the beaten path to a pit in crystal lake with a few buds. we ended up with 1 perch abouit 11 inches, 15 bass (10-14 inches), and a ton of gills. like 20 or 30. all nice gills too. pretty good day. fished with curly tails and worms when it got dark.
