Im in process of making a live well our of a cooler. i was thinking of 2 ariators. is that to many or will one be good. also dont want to have to row back wondering if i should pick up a smaller battery to run the well? any ideas

I recommend just picking up a cheap D battery powered airator in the fish section of your local walmart they are like 7-11 bucks and take either 1 or 2 D batteries depending on the one you get and they will run for like a whole day or so. Instead of two aerators, just grab a 2 dollar 7-9" bubbler strip for an aquarium and use that to diffuse the oxygen better and you will have extremely active fish ready to go as soon as you pull them out!

Then you don't even have to run it off the trolling motor battery.

 

I use two small bubblers... My fish are extremely lively during the weigh ins... I secured mine with adhesive and drilled holes for the tubes to go through and my set up works wonderfully... 2 "D" batteries in both and they usually last me numerous tourneys...

A little over two weeks until the opener!!!

Yeah we lucked out... 30-40 mile and hour winds would have been horrible... Rain forecasted for late next week but that is a long ways off to be corrected...

For those of you that are new to this or others that have forgotten, it's a WCTT tradition to have a few drinks at the bar afterwards. It's doesn't get crazy or anything, so stop by as this is a great way to socialize with others. Jerry is a great bartender and he always takes care of us.
