As more people discover this lake from our posts it`s only going to get worse.
Agreed. It's unfortunate, but true.

Dawgfish, may I ask how many dead fish you found on your seawall?
That sure sucks that fish are dying. I know ours were as happy and healthy looking as can be while we released em.

I vote cooler livewells with the use of a chemical like "Please Release Me" in all boats. I can guaruntee you that keeping fish on stringers, then putting them in a bucket is killing most of the fish....
My big stringer last year was looking bleak, first thing in the morning. I had 2 big ones and 2 little guys in there all caught deep (over 20'). What I forgot to put in my livewell was ICE!! You could just tell the fish weren't doing well... So I ran as fast as I could back to the Resort, grabbed Uncle John, bought two bags of ice, then dumped em in there. Within 15 minutes those fish were "finning" and looking much much better. That makes a huge difference in the warmer months.
By "finning" I mean how much the fish are moving their fins. You can tell how well a fish is doing by the fin movement and how well balanced it is. If she's kinda rolling over, NOT a good sign.
Hope some of that helps in the future... Education is the key guys! I've been fishing tournaments local for 10 years now and learned a lot, hopefully I can help this club some.

BTW, I went to Wal-mart and bought the biggest cooler they had. A 120quart cooler, which = 30 gallons. It was like $70 and much worth it! I can put 10 bass in there varying in size no problem.
