I'm a big fan of Senko worms and I like tossing them weightless, texas rigged. One additional thing I do to make the rig even more weedless, is to tuck the very tip of the hook back into the worm. This seem to keep the hook more free of weeds and scum. When a fish takes the bait the tip of the hook seems to break free of the worm and penetrate the fish. Has anyone else tried this tactic?

Seeing as though I don't have a boat, this is how I usually fish my Senkos. The weed cover this time of year makes this one of the only ways to fish.

I do this all of the time as well when fishing a weedy area. Senkos are made to be fished weightless, since they weigh almost 1/2 ounce by themselves. The only time that I would consider adding a bullet weight is when fishing a heavy weed mat area.
