I went out 2 days ago and did not catch anything i was by the dike used minos and spinner bait but no luck also used grubs and worms nothing.:-(((( also this week i was out for perch on lake michigan not even one bite not even a crappy gobie :-( is it too cold??? and the last place i visited this week was the chicago river at foster . same thing not even one bite and i was hoping at least for a carp

Have you looked at the Perch forum or searched under Perch? People are having crazy luck getting winter perch - get 'em while you can.

I went 3 days ago or so and got skunked. I did notice a lot of dead big shad and a mix of bluegills on the shore. As I was walking closer to the water you can smell the dead fish.

i read that navy pier and the river at 95th or 92nd is best. also try belmont harbor
