There's one on the north side of Dundee Rd. just east of Milwaukee. There's tons of smaller bass in there and THOUSANDS of bluegills, but there are supposedly some nice fish in there if you hunt for em'

Axehead is probably you're best bet, like Basscaster says.

I like to work 3" slug-go's just above the shoreline weeds to get bass. They aren't very big, but it always produces.

If you want to go for some bigger fish, try the Skokie Lagoons. Take a look at some of the posts from the Lagoons for what to use.

Busse or Skokie Lagoons. For larger Bass, Both are hit and miss (depending on time of year) unless you do our homework and go hiking.

I believe the place that krnfishboy7786 is refering to is Potawatomi. It's a small lake with lots of bluegill for sure, but I have seen pictures of bass up to 20" caught there. Just not sure how many are there. I have caught bluegill there as small as 2" many years ago so the bass have plenty of small fish to eat for sure.

shiller pond is the easiest for cats bluegill and probably bass oh yeah and the occasonall 15 lb carp fun as helllllll but the cats are the easiest to catch
