The Eugene knot is shown in the March issue of Bassmaster, page 18. I'm going to start using it this season for flouro.

.
would the palamar knot work

yeah ive been sitting at my computer for hours trying to tie this damn knot, will the palamoar knot be good, whats wrong with the palamar knot
is pline just as good as other flouros? i noticed its alot cheaper, is it worth it to invest in pricier flouro?
with flouro you pretty much need to use the palomar knot.
most of the time with floro i use the good old trilene knot.

make sure you wet your line!!!!

If the line is slipping that's usually due to an unsecure knot. I do tie palomar's with floro as well, but you are risking the strength of your line every time you tie that knot. Any time you cause friction or rubbing of the line, the line heats up and can actually break on its self. So by wetting the line on every tie and making sure each knot looks like it should will help.

I use a couple different brands of pline inlcluding 100 percent floro and the p line evolution co-polymer. Both work very well for my specifications.
