Thinking of heading to Busse today for canoe fishing. I'm a big "social distancing" guy so I'd like to avoid people/crowds as much as possible. I know there is the main boat house launch but any other areas to drop the canoe in that (i) are less likely to have people around and (ii) relatively close to a parking area (portages aren't fun)? Of course, the closer to best areas for my first bass haul are appreciated.
For context, I found Skokie Lagoon launch to be empty when I got there last Thursday at around noon and a mob scene at around 330 - with very few of the 20 or so people standing around practicing distancing or wearing masks. Not trying to start a public health/economic/political debate. just looking for some inside info on Busse. Thanks
