Has anyone wet the line at Grove Lake in Wood Dale?

I was thinking of heading over there tonight after work to fish some new water.

Wondering if it would be worth my time at all.

small fish three weeks ago on beds and really weedy back then also. it's only nine acres so it wouldn't be a complete loss to just check it out. also, they stock that pond with trout but make sure you have a stamp. I caught one on a rattle trap when i was there a while back, i knew it wasn't a bass cuz it didn't really fight on my heavy tackle.

Is that the one on Wooddale Rd. by Oak Meadows CC? The one with the two little floating docks? I have fished there several times. One dink bass is all I got. There is a huge stunted panfish population there. Most folks I have seen fishing it are fishing tiny jigs and bobbers for gills.
