Got to Busse just before sunrise and I was surprised to see that the entrance was open.

Got to the WWD and I was the only one there. I had the whole place to myself for about 1.5 hours. Got several short bass on nightcrawlers. Saw two pikes and crap load of carp. There's also the one koi in orange.

Tried a lot of artificials throughout the day, but not too successful.

I met two WCF members - Sarge (Pat) and Spiroh (and his friend). Gents, it was cool fishing with you guys. I hope you guys ended up with a better result.

I left at 1:30PM. The temps were in the 20's with a slight breeze from the west throughout my time there.

I am just so stoked to get out and fish.

Good to talk to you out there. We left a bit later than you. I just had those two smallish bass and a few bluegill on crawlers. Nothing big but always fun to fish.
