Arrived around 930 am about (5) others were fishing the banks and discharge rail. The water was clear as gin as the Toothdoc has stated.
Only problem the fish weren't biting. I was with my brother(Dan) he used every lure except the the kitchen sink, I used minnows also crawlers. Together we caught 2 small LMB and gills. What would we do without WWD.

Lures don't usually work as well as livebait at the WWD. It is a spot to go in January and catch some bass though. :wink:

The bass were caught on large minnows. The gills attack crawlers,last week my brother caught 1-(12-14") bass on a crawler.

The gills do attack the crawlers. They are like piranhas. The trick is to put the crawlers in front of the bass and keep them away from the gills. But like I said, "trick."

Forgot to mention... the "kitchen-sink lure" is what works best at the wwd!

So the bleach smell is due to the fact someone is cleaning the sink lure.
