well couldnt take any pics because i just got my new iphone which i didnt wanna ruin by touching it with my dirty fingers. LOL. but i had a good time in the hour span i was there. maybe little longer but fun time. The wwd if for sure back up and running again with some huge bass. There was a good amount of people there but they didnt get nothing. I did knotice a good amount of very large crappies by the wall side. I myself today ended up with 3 bass all about 14 inches or so. i missed a good sized one at the end i think but i couldnt tell what it was because i hooked it from a cast in the grates. it could of been a large capr for all i know, either way it snapped the line cause i pulled to hard at the end. I also knoticed a few walleye schooling in the middle but they took off once my weight hit the water. I did get 2 shad but they were snagged cause i casted into a school of literally about 50 of them and i got 2 of them but on separate casts. i think we should do one last tourney here. that is just my thought but there are tons of other places we could do them at.

Its good to hear theres a bunch of fish around! Sounds like things are looking up over there.
Definitely sounds like things are looking up at the WWD. Thanks for the report rootpro.
Great news glad to hear the bass are back. What bait were you using?I was there the other day they wouldn't bite.
I also forogt to add that the tree that hangs over the water there( the one I'm talking about is on the right side of you if you are standing by the steel bars by bike bath, the tree that is half way point of wwd till it reaches creek) was loaded with bass like all 3# each, but it was impossible to get them without getting tangledd up!
haha i missed the biggest one i had on last night at that area keith... nice job! glad you got some fish dude! but yes everyone the wwd has deff. recovered. It actually has a shit load more bass and a lot of bigger ones now!
I was out there today at the WWD from 8 to 1030 this morning and than moved out to the Main Dam overflow area. I threw basically Senckos on a Football Jig and a few 3/8 OZ Spinnerbaits. NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING. This was my first time fishing the WWD and I did see alot of Bass Schooled up by the Outlet.

So next time I am going to go out there later in the night right around sunset. If anyone is intrested on going out there with me shoot me a PM, As of right now I think the WWD is a waste of time.......

welcome to the site novak! you need live bait at the wwd and a little know how to catch them spooky fish at this infamous winter hotspot. like any new body of water, it takes time to get acclimated and figure out a pattern.

try freelining medium to large fathead minnows on a small hook and 4-6lb flourocarbon line. your guaranteed to catch a few bass on this rig. if the fish are there that is.
Glad to here those bad boys are back. Is it time for a quick tourny or is it too late?
Anyone want to fish Busse Saturday Morning around 7 or so, or when they open the gates up. PM me if intrested.
you just may see a couple of us out there this weekend novak with the news that the wwd is back on track.
I will be there Saturday, I don't know about 7AM though. LOL
