You know you're getting old when...

Last year I purchased a 50 year old Johnson 4 HP outboard motor with my George W. Bush tax rebate. I call the motor the "W". I wish I worked as great as that motor.

And days ago, I purchased a high tech HUMMINBIRD 140 FISHIN BUDDY FISHFINDER. I bet the fish at Deep Lake are scared now.

So now I can motor around and find fish.

Now if I can only find Roland Martin or Bill Dance having a beer at Jack and Lydia's, then I'll be set. (Thanks goodness it's Spring.)

Anyway. have you tried mounting that fishing buddy to a kayak?

I do miss kayaking and have used a fish finder on my Pungo in the past.

But I don't miss lifting a 50 pound kayak on top of my car at the end of a long day and tying it down.

I do have my Kayak and canoe in dry dock in the garage. Fishing at Jack and Lydia's is just easier.

I see. Well if you see two kayakers fishing deep lake (one in a camo color and one in a bright orange) that would be my wife and I. She also likes to fish :mrgreen: Hopefully we'll see you on the lake some time.

It is very possible. Since her mother lives lake front, we are ALWAYs out there
