Agreed Have we found out what the entry fee will be ?????
$20 a head. What you guys think about kids (14 yrs and under) and wives for $10.

Tony, we are not allowed to bring our own beer to the picnic. All booze must be purchased from Jack's.

I can bring a new gas can full of mix who is to say it's gas and oil....
i prefer whiskey or scotch mike! or how about some long island mix. keke.

and again, how about the kids and wives $10 entry fee? i know it's a few weeks away but i don't want to procrastinate and scramble to organize the day before we head out.

I've kinda kept quiet and have been watching everyone's input on the details.

Some thoughts...

Not crazy about the stringer thing, but can work with it.

Not crazy about the different "entry" fees, but again, can work with it.

Having an "official" weigh-in or measurment procedure is gonna be tough.

Basically, I want this to be as FUN as possible - with every WCF member and their families talking about it for years to come.

I'd REALLY like this to be LESS about the money and MORE about having a good time with a little incentive.

Perhaps we can stick with the honor system and prizes go to biggest fish (length) and best length of 5 biggest fish over 14" - a 60/40 split.

We'll wind up learing a lot about the first WCF Fall Classic and there will no doubt be problems. Let's make the possibility for problems as little as possible.

Keep the ideas coming! Let's have something concrete by this weekend.

never easy.... Each boat (6-10 boats I would quess,,12 to 20 weight ins) lines up at the doc (stringer in the water at the doc.... the bass will be fine!!) at 12:15

We get a empty cooler and fill it with water ...Max stringers(5 fish) "go first" and set the "bar" put the stringer for each (5 fish)person in a bass bag (any big bag/sack)so they don't flop around and have any extra water. This way you get total fish weight "Quick" and easy. If you can't beat the "bar" let your catch go. Since it's only BIG fish and total weight you will know where you stand after a few weigh ins(since the big catches went first)and can release your catch and tell your story of the big one that got away later. This will limit any weight in congestion

If your concern is fish out of water time. This should limit that. A minute or 2 at best. Measuring/photo on the boat is about the same time out of water.

I think everyone would like to see/photo the big ones

Just some thoughts..I am done with ideas and will wait for the final rules.

Should be a fun day looking forward to it.
