Hit up a local public park lake, and had probably the best fishing outing of the year. I tried a texas rigged baby brush hog for a while with no bites, so I switched to a small baby-bass patterned crankbait and started whackin' em!!

I caught a 10" Crappie, and 7 bass (12-15") within 45 minutes!! I had to get back for dinner but the fishing is definitely heating up!!!

Fish were all caught really shallow, I think that the bass are coming up closer to shore and feeding, and maybe starting to spawn. I've heard of bass being spotted on beds but I still haven't seen em' not that I'd fish for em though.
