I typically start in the far northeast corner and work my way down to the west. Spinners work well for northerns this time of year, mostly snakes but its better than no fish. Also if you dont want to be too mobile throw a slib bobber with a roach or minnow and wait for something to swim by. Personally I would rather ice fish this lake.
