Wow, so far we have 8 boats set up and another 8 to 10 people interested (didn't list all friends of members who might join). We could have an outing with well over 20 people. Now we'll have to see how many actually show up. We've been down this road before where 20 people sign up and 10 show up. We'll see. Hope the weather holds out. If it does this could result in many fish being caught. :D

Well, I guess Andrew is not going to come out and play  Maybe if we are lucky we can get a boat project update out of him this weekend though.

Anyways, lets lay down the criteria for Saturday. It looks like a few enterants have not fished any Deep outings before.

6A-1P, with #1CubsFan being the outing official. Plan to get there a little early to get the gear loaded up on Stoshes ATV. Boat rentals run $20 and there MAY be some money collected for a "Friendly Competition." Lets decide on any modifications now so everyone is set beforehand. Its too bad we can't get an earlier start as it gets light at 5A :?

The address for Deep is:
Jack & Lidia's Resort. 38610 N. Edgewood, Lake Villa, IL 60046

Any other general questions can most likely be answered by looking at Jason's Deep Lake page on the home page for the site.

Well, if somebody wanted to ring his doorbell they could do that to wake him up earlier. I call "not it" though on that one. :p

He might be getting up a little earlier these days......especially if we make enough noise when we get there. Maybe Tony can start up the cart. That seems to wake him up pretty quick.

Now, let's just hope the weather holds out. The current forecast is looking sketchy with potential high winds (anywhere from 10 to 22 mph) and storms going through the night before. Hopefully that changes.
