The whole "bite" thing is just a gimmick to catch fishermen, the lure itself looks decent though.I have heard of tearing off one of a craws pinchers to get more bites.
X2....they do look tasty though...kinda like gummy minnows. :sarcasm:

Isn't it banned in the bass tournaments?
Only baits that I know are banned from tournaments are baits that are illegal in the state the tourney is in and live bait. Some have rules against trolling. If you search the term a bunch of bogus pages come up, trying to make people feel like it is an  unfair edge.

I think I would actually try that swimbait out if it did not have a stupid bite mark in its underside.

i bite chunks out of my swimbaits down towardthe tail. It gives them a little more action, vibration, tail flop whatever you want to call it. The bite in this lure is further up tho.

Wow, I was thinking to try the same thing, but I never did it. Is it working? I don't like a lot of swimbaits because of the lack of tail movement. Those fron Lake Fork have some notches on the body to help a little bit...

it works just fine. another tip rig baits like walleye assassains upside down on a jig after modification.

and to answer the message on my phone, I spit out out, don't swallow.
