There are several other Hamms classics on YouTube...including one with Rocky Marciano getting in the ring with the bear. Hey, really cool about seeing the river otters...seen them in UP but not yet the DPR.

Hamms, that was my beer of choice for a very long time. Until they were bought out by Olympia Brewing company. Went down hill after that.

Pinecone , love the commercial. I can remember like yesterday sitting in a Tavern with Pop and i would watch those and love to stare above the Bar at the cool colored Hamms Bear on one of those wavy boards. Sat in a few on Milwaukee ave, but the one i remember the most was the old Rons Tavern on Harlem in Niles. Around 1970, God only knows what Pop was doing while i had my Coke, which was a treat back then and a bag of Oke popcorn. Rocky Marciano commercial was the best!!

the one i remember the most was the old Rons Tavern on Harlem in Niles.
I spent a lot of bucks in Rons. Some of the best food around. One of our favorite places for lunch.

Two things Ron sold were his beef sandwichs and his burgers. Both were huge and excellent. The beef sandwich was sooo big, it could feed two guys.
