Looks like Lake Villa is getting rain today and until 5 or 6AM tomorrow according to weather.com. But, we all know how accurate that can be. Let's pray for the best.

Don't forget bug spray - I got bit all over while we were preparing to launch last time. It's crazy.

Good call Hide. I plan on being there early. Most of the time I just end up carrying all my stuff down anways Hopefully Tony responds to this thread soon. If not, I can always call Jack and just see if he will let us haul our gear ourselves and pay at the first weigh-in. The few times I have gone solo he has let me do that. He may not mind if we have a smaller group. Either way, I'm excited to go out. Last year on this very weekend, Yami and I had a great morning of fishing at Deep under similar conditions.

I actually love fishing in the rain. It's the thunderstorms that kind of make it hard to fish. :lol: Nonetheless, I have my rain gear packed already. Good to go!

let's just plan to meet up at jack's by 4:45am. the chatter from people usually wakes up uncle john. it's fun to hangout with the wcf prior to launch anyway. 2 of my friends are out and one is still a maybe. but i'll be there no matter what.

payout schedule: $25 entry fee

1st 40% / 2nd 25% / 3rd 10% / Big Fish 20% / 5% automatically deducted from each round for AOY pot.

Example: 20 entries @ $25 = $500 Pot
1st = $200 (40%)
2nd = $125 (25%)
3rd = $50 (10%)
Big fish = $100 (20%)
AOY Pot = $25 (5%)

I'll bring my boga grip scale with me.

Mike actually had a spreadsheet that determined exactly what the exact individual payout was based on the number of entries in the field. Slick as hell and avoids us all trying to do math on our cell phones to determine the payout

Yeah, it looks like the weather will be okay. Probably cloudy with lighter winds. Should be perfect for catching some big 'uns. Like I said, I look forward to seeing some mighty nice pictures. :mrgreen:

Ill probably show up late and fish through the afternoon, I dont plan on entering though/ I know where the fish are. And I can get em to bite but I havent been able to land them in the lillies the last 2 trips out there. I need a broomstick rod Also pretty much all the weeds in the center areas of the lake are gone, major weed kill.
