JP, you can use my battery... I'll be there saturday fishing with Tony (AFV), pm me if you need my phone number. Its an Interstate size 27 battery and will run my 30# and 45# trolling motors pretty good.

It should be charged up from two weeks ago (I always charge it after use) but I'll charge it up again tonight.

I've noted some of the anglers who've finished well, have won some of the WCF tourneys and/or AOY are also folks who are also semi-pro tourney anglers and some of whom have won a few $K in larger bass clubs. To those of you who might fall into this category it is a testament to your skill, desire, dedication and that has brought you game to a higher level and is well deserved.

With that said I understand and respect WCF tourneys might not be the biggest game in town for some of you and that you have busy lives but after this tourney for the top winners it would be nice to read something more then "…Great outing guys, hope to make it next month…". Perhaps you could shed some insight into what presentations, types of cover/structure were productive and perhaps why given conditions, etc…

Sorry for sounding like a whinny bit*h but most of us will never be running with serious tournament anglers on the back of a $50k bass boat and so any bones of information you can throw to scrubs like me would be appreciated.

I hope some don't find this post disrespectful and good luck to everyone on Saturday.

All that good stuff gets talked about at the bar after a few cold ones. The winner will brag like a proud poppa. Others will chime in on the tactics and baits used to one up the other...As an old teacher told me once

"Education is 1/2 academic and 1/2 social"

Any of the guys that I would put into that category have been more than happy to share some things with me. It just might require you to ask the question, as they might not feel like/have time to write about it. I'll tell you one thing...the answer to the technique question is often "Jigs"

First light could be as early as 4:45... If everyone gets there early and loaded up, we absolutely can launch earlier...
