you two really do hate each other eh? ya... idk why people keep the bass out of there... or bass in general. the big 6lber in my avatar was tossed back right after the photo. ive been seein some bucketheads there keepin crappies too... i still tend to have some good luck there, its a completely different lake with the water levels so high tho, lots more structure to fish now, i wade it the majority of the time, tossin twisty tail grubs on a small jighead this time of year, summer is mostly senkos. colors dont really matter, but ive pulled in some big bass from there at night on the glow twisty tail grubs.

ya the fishing has gone down significantly in the past few years there, but theres still days i get out there and catch 50 bass in 3 or 4 hours. not all of em are very big, but there's always some 16-19 inchers mixed in, good 2-4lb fish.

It's sad that the unskilled or the spannnnnfisherman would ever doubt the prowess of a skilled and well honed salmon retractor like myself and those that I tend to share my company with.

Just like genetically superior fish tend to gather together I have found that I attract the same.

While the majority of you find a sorrowful solace in apprehending a fish or two per season or have to rely on spawn to capture the ever elusive obsidian beauty...Me and my cohorts have the mad skillz and talents to constantly extract the salmon from their watery lair.

I will be out once again this eve to combat the invasive salmon laying off our coast...Wish me luck....Although it is truly not necessary nor needed.

Whilst fishing with the Flukester on Sat eve there was a pile of cohos that had dared to enter into our extracting zone...After my flukey puke quickly landed three, he loudly and emphatically proclaimed..."This sucks!"

I reminded him that most people would give their low hanging nads to experience such fortunes....He smiled and said "Yeah, but we are not most people."....And so it goes.

This salmon season had been rather rough....a few skunks and many outings with just being happy for a single hook up or two...Over time the cream does tend to rise to the top.

While some may call "bullshit"...Very few spend as much time on the water perfecting their craft and watching and learning. We check out the advice offered by the "experts" on this and other sites and usually manage a good laugh or a smile. From equipment to techniques to lure choice.....So sad... I can look at someone fishing for all of thirty seconds and determine whether they have any chance at all of experiencing any type of regular success. I am the salmon whisperer.

I have fished with many....Been impressed by few. Some were very nice people....Remember, there is always badmitton or croquet a hobby less demanding and taxing where some form of gratification or success can be experienced in a relatively short time.
