Culprit,
I've never fished Lake Zurich from a boat. I've only fished off the Main Street promenade. I've caught small bass, gills, and a couple of carp. I'd like to get out there on a boat someday, cuz I've heard it's a pretty good lake too. Somebody once told me it's better than Bangs Lake which is just a little farther north. They stocked some tiger muskies in Lake Zurich few years ago. I don't know if any have been caught.

Hey Augy, chances are pretty high that I'll be there with 1 of my friends + his friend who I don't know. We might just all cram onto one boat and just fish around slowly. I'm also waiting on Eric (Edai) to see if he can make it so I may fish with him too. I'll get back to ya soon, can't wait to get out there again!

no public launch but rentals are only $15 all day and you can bring your outboard. hope you can make it top.

Hey I fished Zurich a couple times from shore and only once off of a boat. We pulled out atleast 10-15 bass (among 3 guys) biggest about 17 inches. Most of the fish were caught off white spinnerbaits fishing in pockets of weedbeds in the middle of the lake. A few were taken off of senkos fishing the shallows/shoreline. There's definiteliy some big fish in there, I've seen photos at the marina.
