Congrats Tony on taking AOY, and Alex on winning the tourney. Oh and by the way, thanks for the beer Alex.

Beautiful day to be out fishing, but the fish did not cooperate unfortunately. I struggled most of the morning. I had several hits and taps, but no takers. I caught one bass but it did not measure.I still had a blast fishing out there with you guys!!

It was great fishing with you Matt.

Congrats Al on the win and Tony for getting AOY.

And it wasn't just a rough day on Deep, I was fishing my club's Classic on Lk Wisc and things were very s l o w. But it sure was a beautiful day. Good fishing. Paul
Paul,
Are you fishing with Blackhawk Bassmasters? I know Scott Polen. I took him out to Delavan. He finally got a 4lber this year. If your not with Blackhawk then it's just a coincidence that your club had their classic at Lake Wisconsin too. I heard the Algae bloom was unbelievable.

Jason,
No, I fish with Maple. We sure didn't see many other bass fishermen. Is that a small club? Most of the other bassers we saw were in WI boats. Maybe they were smart and all fished up the river :D .

Algae blooms? It wasn't that bad. You shoulda seen it in July. It was absolutely disgusting. Boats had green roster tails going across the lake. Sometimes a Senko would just sit on the top of the algae. Good fishing.

Blackhawk bassmasters meet in Northbrook. It's a small club. I fish with Anglers Unlimited. A non-affiliated club. We have 45 members. We need non-boaters. Last year we had 6 boaters without nonboaters at every tournament. Look up Anglers-unlimited.com for info.
