My wife is prego and acts like "Sybil", so I can either get, go on go have a good time - I love you. Or, you're going fishing, why don't you love me. You guys with children understand my pain. You guys that don't, welcome to the roller coaster ride.
My wife is about to burst, and I called her Sybil once and it wasnt the smartest thing that I ever did, even tho I was joking. :?
We're due in mid-June and I thought my wife was somehow immune to wild mood swings because the wife was good to this point. I WAS WRONG!!! I mentioned getting a boat or kayak the other day and thought I was gonna nailed with a frying pan. "We have to redo the bathroom, paint the baby's room, what about the other bathroom..." This went on for a while. I only managed an hour of fishing this weekend because of all the crap related to the baby shower. :x

Rudy and I are in!!!

I think the three amigos should get together with a bottle of crown and decide the final rules for this one. What time does it start, partners, how we will weigh the fish, ect. . . .

 I'm not going quite that far north. Door County to fish for some smallies. 8)
Where you going doc, Baily's Harbor?

I have had good luck fishing gills rock in the late spring early summer for smallies. When you're in gills rock on highway 42 go past the east bound turn that takes you to the ferry dock and follow the road down the hill to the dock by the Shoreline motel and the island clipper. I have had success casting jigs with crawlers or minnows while slowly jigging them back to shore.

Just a suggestion, you probably know more spots up there than I do!

LMAO!! oh how we're such wussies when we're up against our wifes!

after barely surviving "D-Day" this weekend with the wife with no serious injuries, she's back to normal and understands why i need to go fish. it cost a small fortune but hey, i get to go fishing again. worth every penny!

I'm in this Saturday!!!!!!!!

I'd say let's start early. 7am sound about right guys??? fish til 1pm? have lunch at jack's bar or we could even bring something to grill!!!

who's up for some grilling???

My cousin Rich and I were planning on fishing Deep Lake this Saturday anyways. Kinda just wanted to do some relaxing fishing as opposed to tourney fishing, but we'll see.

Yes Sean, Bailey's Harbor is the destination. I wasn't gonna fish from shore, as my brother-in-law has a boat, but we could definitely try that area from a boat as well. Thanks for the tip!
