I see most of you are doing lipless, football jig and rat ltrap for bass this time of the year. Why isn't senko a good choice this time of the year?
What he said :moresarcasm:tmoney said:Two reasons, in my opinion:
Pre-spawn bass love feeding on craws to fill up before the spawn.
The bass that aren't feeding are reacting to things more than feeding.
Ive considered that also....until nothing bites and I go to the senko pouch half hour later :sarcasm:FloridaRigger said:I'm considering not using senkos at all this year to focus on learning other techniques

There's no right and wrong way to Fish. Spring fish are just easier... Shallower and hungrier so aggressive approaches typically catch more as well as cover more water. You can catch bass on senkos while ice fishingYou go out and fish how you want and don't get wrapped up in what everyone else is doing. Once you do that you'll be stumbling inna tryin to figure it out game. When you could have just been catching what aggressive fish that are there on senkos.
There are some more productive methods... But all in all Bass are a species you literally can catch on anything, Which is why there so popular.
